Born and raised in Bangladesh and currently As a fourth year CMNS student at TRU. Both my grandfathers were professors of psychology and husbandry and in their footsteps of greatness I also wanted to follow. However I wanted to discover my own interests before I followed my predecessors which allowed me to study different fields of education. I completed my ordinary and advanced level exams in Dhaka at a British school called Sunnydale, the most busiest HubSpot of my country Bangladesh. I had experienced the opportunity to study law under the Batchelor of laws program where I exceled in contract and tort law, two subjects I had an interest in. Right before I took two more modules for first year at law, I had received the letter of acceptance from Thompson Rivers University and it changed my professional trajectory to a whole different level I previously had not given an in depth consideration. Pausing my legal studies I decided to follow up with the letter of acceptance and had chosen the bachelor of arts degree as as the degree I would pursue for the next few years. I had the amazing opportunity to move to a different country adhering to and understanding the cultural differences that increased my overall growth as a person. Furthermore, it allowed me to dive into the many job opportunities my new degree allowed me or helped me to get. With my Triangular understanding of English, Hindi and Bengali I was able to connect to a lot of different job industries that rely heavily on communication skills especially the service and hospitality industry. From making pizzas to making unique cocktails at the busiest and most entertaining hockey games in Kamloops, to setting up banquet rooms for 500 guests from all over the world, I had the amazing opportunity to work in these communication driven work environments. I combine academic discipline with practical hospitality experience gained from positions at Romeo’s Kitchen and Katch Craft Dining. Proficient in English, Bengali, and Hindi, I focus on developing inclusive, event-focused communication strategies. When I’m not hitting the books, I’m out discovering BC’s pathways at its many lakes, hiking trails and waterfalls.
